Welcome to The Cottage! 

Experience great times at a newly redone cottage. The Columbia River is just out the front door. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding bird watching. Farm land out the back door.

View sunsets from the covered deck, cows grazing in the fields. Enjoy star gazing around the fire pit. Puget Island has wonderful flat paved roads for running , walking or biking (bring yours with you). There's also a large yard for family games. You may have a family of deer walk through your fun. Indoor games and corn hole included!

You'll enjoy the living room with a large TV, 2 couches and chairs. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals with your group at the table or on the deck. There's an additional space with a reading room with 2 wingback chairs and a work area available for working on a laptop. 

Guests will have entire home and 1 acre property. River access across the street.

There's an all weather large covered deck with BBQ in the back of the cottage complete with lounge seating with farm pasture and mountain views.

* All farm gates and fences are to be left closed. Cattle and farmland is off-limits to guests.

Welcome to The Farm! 

Tucked on Puget Island, 90 minutes NW of Portland, in the quaint town of Cathlamet, WA sits Columbia River Ranch, a working cattle ranch set on over 500 acres of lush grasses. Come and take a break from city life and enjoy the farm!

Come and take a break from the city life and make yourself comfortable in our large 1920s renovated barn house, perfect for anything from a romantic getaway, a large family reunion, a corporate retreat, or a summer camp experience. 

Enjoy a drink on our private dock over the river. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided with plenty of life jackets for your pleasure and safety! Bike or walk around the island and take in the gorgeous views of the Columbia River. 

As the stars come out, circle around the campfire in one of our comfortable Adirondack chairs and share stories of your day on the farm.

A Working Cattle Ranch & Guests

Columbia River Ranch is a working cattle ranch so there may be cowboys or ranch hands on the property during your stay. You are welcome enjoy the areas around the barn house . We have animals on the farm . Please observe the signs around the farm for your own safety. We kindly ask that you not feed the animals for their own health. Many of them are given food especially formulated for each one .

Guests have access to the fire pit and dock area but event space inside the barn (not including the apartment) is an additional fee for usage. All activities on the ranch are at the risk of the participant. The ranch is not responsible for accidents or injuries. The adjacent farmhouse is often occupied by family, however your privacy is of utmost importance. We look forward to welcoming you to our ranch!
